Large lighting pylons illuminate the karting site after dark. This section documents what is visible from surrounding residential properties and the questions raised about environmental impact and authorisation.
What the photographs show
The evidence section will include night photographs taken from surrounding residential viewpoints, with dates and approximate locations where appropriate.
A strong night photograph of the fully illuminated site will also be used as the homepage hero image. The image should be the resident's own photograph or otherwise licensed for publication.
Questions being examined
- What permissions and environmental conditions apply to the floodlighting?
- Whether the lighting is operated consistently with those conditions.
- The extent of light spill and visual intrusion into nearby homes.
Any legal conclusions will be tied to official documents rather than assumptions based solely on photographs.
